The Cedar Sauna Company Ltd are proud to present… The Cedar Sauna No.1 – the first of its kind.
Seating up to 6 people, this sauna is 3.5m x 2.2m cabin, 2.4m tall with 2m x 2m hot room and 2m x 1m changing room. This sauna is constructed with sustainably sourced Canadian Cedar – grown incredibly slowly in the harsh Canadian climate and far superior to faster grown British Cedar.
A lot of thought and consideration has gone into this sauna cabin; This sauna was first put onto paper 3 years ago and is a result of years of research and experience of Finnish and Estonian sauna design, construction and practice coupled with The Cedar Sauna Company’s renowned attention to detail.
In addition to our expert knowledge of sauna design and construction, this sauna cabin has been built to incredibly high standards and will provide the most amazing sauna experience for decades to come.
Constructed onto a galvanised steel base, this sauna is protected from ground moisture and is also portable.
As well as being fully compliant with Finnish and Estonian sauna regulations and British building regulations, this sauna is built with the highest quality materials throughout, including; 20mm thick knotless Canadian Western Red Cedar cladding and 40mm thick/600mm deep knotless Canadian cedar benches, high grade volcanic ash linoleum flooring, smoked toughened glass, the award winning Saunum sauna climate device and a world class Iki wood burning stove, holding a generous 160kg of Olivine volcanic rock.
Externally we have 40mm thick spruce feather edge cladding painted black, ebony stained Sapele door and windows and a thick rubber roof.
In addition, the cedar sauna comes with fully adjustable ventilation, drainage in both rooms and the space below the benches is accessible for regular cleaning.
